NHS dental fees are set by the Scottish Government so will be the same in every dental practice in Scotland. The NHS fee structure is complex and will vary considerably between patients depending on the exact treatment required. NHS treatment options are limited to those that are clinically necessary to achieve and maintain good oral health. Other treatments such as teeth whitening and white fillings/crowns on back teeth are not available on the NHS, but can be done privately.
